RapidBrow (Eyebrow Enhancing Serum) Review - Before and After - WEEK 2

Hi folks!

Not to much to report this week. Still light regrowth coming in and although I'd like to think it the serum doing its thing, can't be sure and so that would be a tad speculative!

Here is a little snap anyways. See what you think and let me know.

RapidBrow (Eyebrow Enhancing Serum) Review - before and after WEEK 1

One week in, many to go but I thought I'd update you none-the-less.

I've seen some very light regrowth although, I can't be sure that this isn't much the same as what would regrow without serum. If you remember, I began this treatment with brows I hadn't waxed in approximately 4 months.

Initial application of the serum did result in localised redness and I don't have particularly sensitive skin, so something to bear in mind for those who do. I persisted with the treatment in spite of this and after a couple of applications, I wasn't bothered by redness anymore.

Aside from that, does perform quite well as a brow set.

Below is an updated photograph of my brow. Excuse the dark circles, it was VERY early when I had the chance to take this picture!

Hope you all find this helpful and I'll be back again in a week with another update.

Lancôme Nutrix Royal Mains Nourishing and Restoring Hand Cream Review

I love receiving practical gifts for birthdays and Christmasses (yes, a label maker really is on my wish list this year) and as always, my Mother did not disappoint at birthday time.

This year amongst other things, I received the Lancôme Nutrix Royal Mains Nourishing and Restoring Hand Cream and I just have to rave about it.

Hand cream is one of things that is a hated necessity for me but I guess that just because I've never really be thoroughly satisfied with the creams I've used, until now of course. My previous lust-affair was with Soap and Glory Hand Food. Most likely a lust affair due to the divine scent. However, this product could only deliver wonderful moisturisation in a very rich and greasy cream. This product is not alone though as I have been similarly disappointed with L'Occitane's Shea Butter Hand Cream.

Lancôme Nutrix Royal Mains is now a mainstay in my morning and evening beauty regime. The delicately scented cream glides over my hands and I kid you not, is absorbed in seconds. What I am left with is superbly smooth and supple skin. I am not yet at the age that I suffer from serious aging on my hands, so in that department, I can not comment on performance. But the veil of moisture this provides lasts for about 6 hours, probably in part to the rebalancing of the lipid layer of the cell membranes (the lipid bilayer of a cell helps to form a semipermeable barrier that keeps the outside, out and the inside, in!) thus, helping to retain moisture more readily.

With an RRP of £21.50 for 100ml, it's a luxury purchase but since I use a pea-sized about each application, I'm sure it'll last a while.

Lancôme offer other moisturers in this range including, one for the face and a body butter which I'm now desperate try.

RapidBrow (Eyebrow Enhancing Serum) Review - Before and After

CHECK OUT MY BLOG POST FOR THE WEEK 1 UPDATE. For a long time now, I have been an avid reader of beauty and skincare blogs but now I feel it has come time to contribute to the world of blogging and my first offering is a review of RapidBrow eyebrow enhancing serum.

For longer than I care to admit, I have been an overzealous plucker and waxer of what once were very full, youthful brows. Much to my disgust, my brows are now pencil thin and until recently, I thought, beyond hope. This was until I discovered RapidBrow which retails at £37.00 and is available from Boots.com. Having scoured the web for before and after reviews of this product, I have found such information, pretty scarce, so here I write!

RapidBrow claim that eyebrow density appeared improved by 108% in just 60% days and that improvements will be observed from a few weeks use. The use of appeared does ring alarm bells with me but since I think I am at the point that I look twice my age and fit to play the evil Queen in Snow White, I am ignoring my rational self and jump in with both feet.

Having seen many a guru and blogger complain of their sparse and overplucked brows, I cannot help but be envious because as you are about to see, mine are miserable. These are what I began the review period with...

Before

Sorry it's just one eye, promise I have another, I just struggled to get a decent shot myself and would rather you all had something in focus to look at :). The fronts of my brows are relatively thick, tapering of into almost nothing.

As I begin, I have not waxed or plucked in about 4 months. You can therefore, see the sort of regrowth I would see in that period.

The product is to be applied twice daily to the brow area using the spoolie brush and in the hope I see results soon, I will be posting weekly/fortnightly updates to this blog post, so stay tuned for what I pray, are miraculous results!
